Our Standards
The principles that guide how Nepal Digital Association researches, advises and collaborates on Nepal's digital and AI economy, and what we expect from the partners who work with us.
Six Commitments
The principles that guide everything we research, publish and recommend.
Evidence-Based Research
Our research and recommendations rest on credible data, transparent methods and clearly cited sources. We state the limits of our evidence openly.
Responsible and Ethical AI
We promote AI that is fair, transparent and accountable, with meaningful human oversight, and we encourage risk checks for jobs, rights and vulnerable groups.
Data Protection and Privacy
We respect personal data. We collect only what is needed, keep it secure, and promote practices that follow Nepal's applicable laws and recognized international good practice.
Inclusion and Accessibility
Digital transformation must work for everyone. We consider gender, geography, language, disability and income so that no community is left behind.
Integrity and Independence
We act honestly and declare conflicts of interest. Our analysis stays independent of the interests of any single partner, funder or sector.
Openness and Collaboration
We work with government, industry, academia and civil society, share knowledge openly, and credit the experts and partners who contribute.
How We Apply Our Standards
Every study, event and programme follows the same four steps.
-
Plan with purpose
We set a clear objective and scope before work begins.
-
Verify and review
Qualified experts check data, claims and drafts before release.
-
Publish openly
We share outputs with clear sources, methods and authorship.
-
Learn and improve
We welcome feedback and update our work as the digital landscape changes.
